Arrow Utilizes misting treatments that will kill mosquitoes and suppress populations by a significant amount so you can enjoy the outside of your home. Homeowner has the duty to maintain their home against mosquito prone areas such as: standing water, clogged gutters, etc. Monthly service will receive free service calls (service guarantee). The agreement is contracted for the months specified and will continue automatically unless cancelled in writing by either party. Charges will occur until the program is cancelled.
Pest Control – Wet Day Treatments: Arrow’s residential pest program is designed so Arrow can service your property in times of inclement weather and stay on a strict service schedule to fight pests. Arrow utilizes moisture activated granulated crystals if the exterior of your property is wet as well as exterior crack and crevice methods with E.P.A. Approved products. This enhanced product is included, if needed, in your regular service schedule, at NO EXTRA CHARGE!
German Roach Treatment: German Roaches are very difficult to control due to their biology, accelerated life cycle, and their ability to have insecticidal resistance. A Multi-tactic approach is utilized. Additional products and pest control methods need to be used for German Roach Infestations. On the initial treatment, the homeowner (or tenant) needs to prepare to vacate the property once treatment begins. Payment arrangements are due at the time of service and prior to starting the job. The treatment area must be adequately clean prior to treatment. If an area is not adequately clean or prepared for treatment, Arrow cannot guarantee the area. Most infestations will require multiple treatments after the initial clean-out service.
- German Roach Prep: Clean all kitchen, bathrooms, and floors prior to treatment. Any food that is unsealed should be removed from the area, so it is not exposed to the treatment application. Food surfaces should be cleaned after client returns.
- Re-Entry: Client needs to wait 4 hours to re-enter the structure after a German Roach cleanout treatment.
Flies/Stinging Insects: Flying insects and stinging insects are included with Prime Pest but cannot be guaranteed. Arrow will perform up to 2 free service calls per year for house flies, drain flies, fruit flies, and stinging insects. Sanitation and cleanliness are the #1 control methods for proper fly control. Prime Programs do not include stinging insects that require a bee suit or ladder. Prime Pest will treat paper wasps and include a sweep down of accessible paper wasp nests up to 15 feet high.
Prime Plus Bed Bugs: Bed Bug treatments are guaranteed only if the proper preparation is done by the client. Arrow may still treat the property and additional treatments may need to occur to get rid of the bed bug problem. Additional trips and charges may need to occur and still, Arrow cannot guarantee the treatment unless all preparation is completed according to Arrow Guidelines. Arrow offers comprehensive options for bed bug control that can include liquids, dusts, growth regulators, monitors, steam, heat, and fumigation treatments. Client agrees to vacate the property during and after the bed bug treatment for at least 4 hours. This is needed for any bed bug treatment unless otherwise specified. Bedbug treatments are not sold over the phone and a physical inspection must be performed prior to proposing and applying treatment. After a bedbug service and follow-up is performed as quoted, the Prime Pest Service will now also include Bedbug service calls if the Prime Pest Service is in place. Bed bug Warranties do not include treatment for cases involving “re-entry” of new bed bugs from a new or previous source. Bedbug Mattress covers not included with Prime Service. Bedbug Monitors may be used.
Bed Bug Preparation Checklist: Also available on our website.
- Dry all available clothes and bedding on high heat for at least 30 minutes to kill all life stages of the bed bugs. Tie clothes in sealable trash bags and place in garage/carport or other safe area that is away from the infested area without the possibility of reintroduction of the bed bugs.
- Do not leave any toiletry items that could get contaminated by the treatment (toothpaste, toilet paper, toothbrush, etc.)
- Clear the floors so they are prepared for treatment and vacuum them before treatment. The more you vacuum before and after the treatment, the higher the success rate of eliminating the bed bugs.
- Do NOT return to the treated area for 4 hours until after the treatment.
- A two-week follow-up to the initial treatment is common and this process may need to be repeated at that time. If additional follow-ups are needed, they will be at a cost specified by the salesman.
Flea Treatments: Arrow performs interior and exterior flea services. Flea services are not guaranteed unless the flea preparation checklist is completed prior to treatment. Arrow utilizes IPM methods to control and prevent fleas. These methods include but are not limited to fogging, growth regulators, adulticides, dusts, and aerosol treatments. Arrow’s Prime Pest Control includes fleas. If you have a problem with fleas, or any other guaranteed pest, in between visits then Arrow will return at no cost to remedy the problem. Please keep your pets properly bathed and treated for fleas.
Flea Preparation Checklist: Also available on our website. Service is not guaranteed unless the preparation is done by the client.
- Vacuum all floors and furniture before treatment and dispose of the vacuum bag outside of the home.
- Remove all sheets from the bed and dry them for 30 mins on high and leave them in the dryer or place them in a plastic bag.
- Pets: they are to have a flea bath and removed from the area while treatment is taken place. All pets need to be on regular flea medication, so fleas do not get re-introduced in the area.
- Wildlife: if there is an abundance of wildlife in the area, it may be impossible or impractical to guarantee the flea treatment. They can constantly re-introduce fleas. It may be necessary for wildlife to be removed and or relocated.
- Mow the lawn for outside treatments, prior to Arrow coming for treatment.
- Do your best to limit moisture, dense vegetation, and debris pile up around the home to limit flea reproduction sites.
- Be prepared to not re-enter the home or treated lawn for at least 4 hours after any flea treatment. Treatment must dry and settle properly for treatment to remain effective.
Prime Rodent Service: Prime rodent service includes mice and rats inside of the structure and attic areas with trapping and lures. Minor ground level exclusion, up to 3 entry points no larger than a tennis ball, may be completed during the initial visits to the home along with the use of repellants if needed as a part of the Prime Service Fee. Exterior rodent bait stations, extensive exclusion, or repellant treatments may be needed for heavy infestations as recommended by the Arrow Rep. Active rodent infestations require many follow-ups after the initial service. No roof work will be performed as a part of Prime Pest Service.
Rodent Damage and Clean-Up: Rodents carry and spread many diseases and odors and cause damage to your attic insulation. Arrow offers extensive and professional clean up services to remove contaminated insulation. A quote may be provided after our initial visit for: Exclusion, Insulation Removal, Deodorization, Sanitation, and Insulation Installation.
Rodent Repellant Services: Arrow utilizes rodent repellants, including eco-friendly repellant options, to repel rodents from entering your home. Repellant, as a standalone rodent treatment, is not recommended. Other methods of control such as exclusion, trapping, or baiting should be used to fight and prevent rodent infestations. Rodent repellant services as a stand-alone service may be performed by Arrow but do not carry a full rodent control guarantee. If rodents do enter the structure, other rodent control methods will need to be quoted and agreed upon to gain full control.
Rodent Stations (RBS): Rodent Box stations are not to be moved or tampered with in any way. Clients are not to open the stations or have keys to the stations. If the stations are ever observed to be open and not fully closed or locked, please contact Arrow ASAP. Rodent stations contain bait that is designed to be accessible to the target pest of rodents. There is no guarantee that rodents will die in the box, and they may still gain entry to the structure and die in it. Arrow is not responsible for rodents that die in the structure and preventative exclusion services are recommended. For odors, please consider our de-odorization services.
Rodent Removal: Arrow will not cut open walls to remove dead rodents. Arrow will remove rodents that are safely accessible and once that are found on or in our traps.
Ground Level Exclusion: Extensive exclusion is not covered with Prime Pest Control. However, the Arrow technician may exclude up to 3 holes, no bigger than a tennis ball, for no additional charge if they are easily accessible on the ground level to help with rodent intrusion. Additional and extensive exclusion can be quoted as an additional service.
Roofs: Arrow does not perform work directly on roofs and any roof work is not included with any Arrow program unless specifically noted. Roof work must be inspected and approved by a manager prior to a quote being accepted and submitted. This policy is in place for safety and insurance reasons.
Eco-friendly Attic Dusting: Can be added to Prime Service at any time as a one-time very effective attic pest treatment. Arrow utilizes long lasting, eco-friendly dust treatments for the attic or other labeled areas. This treatment is a one-time treatment for a large variety of household general pests and will have an effectiveness of over 30 years. This product is perfect for the attic space as it does not break down with heat compared to most other pesticides. The product is moisture resistant and does not clump when exposed to moisture. The homeowner or occupant can remain in the structure, but not in the attic, during the time of the eco-friendly treatment.
Arrow’s Prime Pest service: Service is for a period of one year, during which period it shall be non-cancelable. Service frequency is every other month (bi-monthly). After the initial contract period expires, the agreement shall automatically renew itself for 30-day periods until cancelled in writing by either party. If cancelled by the client, the client must speak with an Arrow manager or approved representative regarding the cancellation. Charges will occur even if property is inaccessible for treatment & Arrow has made a reasonable effort to schedule/perform treatment. Charges will occur until program is cancelled in writing.
Common Pests Not Included with Prime + mosquito unless noted: bedbugs, ticks, scorpions, pantry pests, mites, wood destroying organisms, subterranean or Drywood Termites, invasive pest species, squirrels, wildlife, moles, voles, chinch bugs.
Insulation removal: Arrow recommends removing contaminated or damaged loose fill insulation and replacing with TAP Insulation. In many cases, an attic “capping” can be done to place TAP over the existing insulation and may not require removal. Arrow will make every effort to safely remove accessible loose fill insulation with our insulation removal equipment and hoses.
Sanitation: Arrow’s sanitation service will help eliminate and/or suppress possible diseases that rodents may carry. Rodents travel in many different hidden pathways and produce droppings and urine at a rapid rate. This service, in no way, is guaranteed to eliminate every disease in every area of the structure. Arrow’s sanitation service however, will lead to a healthier living environment.
Tap Insulation Services: 3.7 R-Value per inch. Please see our website for more TAP info. TAP is an eco-friendly and cellulose based pesticide insulation. It is EPA approved. In cases of insufficient insulation levels and R-values, it will save you money on your energy bills and the client may be eligible for tax benefits if they use TAP on their home. TAP is effective against most household pests according to the label and the pesticide will not break down in the heat. TAP is perfect for attic applications. Pests love dark, humid, undisturbed spaces. Please call us for a Free TAP Consultation.
Safe Working Conditions: Arrow reserves the right, with the clients permission, to schedule attic work, due to safety concerns, in the early morning where peak temperatures are not a threat in the attic. We ask our clients, for safety, that they do everything possible to schedule attic work at a safe and reasonable time.
Tap Insulation and Removal Payment Addendum Policy: All services over $1,800 must be paid upon completion of service unless otherwise noted by the account manager. A down payment of 25% may be required by the account manager.
Health & Property Notice: Pest Control is meant to protect health and property. It is Arrow’s goal to be a convenience to you with scheduling, servicing, and supporting our clients for a healthy pest free environment. Please let Arrow know if you have any known chemical sensitivities. Consulting with your doctor before treatment is recommended. Product labels and safety data sheets are available to you. Arrow will not be held liable for any insect stings, bites, diseases, and associated medical expenses or legal expenses. Arrow will not be held liable for any property damage except due to gross negligence. Arrow technicians are trained to take care of your pest control needs safely and effectively. Thank you for your business and we look forward to improving your health and quality of life!
Termite Damage & Warranty Information: Full termite treatments are given treatment contracts that offer a treatment performed to the specifications of the label and the law. Areas not treated to spec require a waiver and permission from the homeowner. If the owner waives an area, Arrow is not liable for damage or treatment to these areas. Arrow highly advises that full termite treatments are to be done for quality purposes and because of the growing threat of subterranean termites. Drywood termites are not included in termite agreements unless otherwise specified. Never remove or disturb termite treatment. This will void your Damage Warranty unless you disclose this to Arrow. Always report Structural changes, added square footage, added concrete to the structure or abutting the foundation, and any landscape work that occurs within 1 ft of the foundation. Treatment contracts come with a renewal that guarantees the ongoing treatment and inspection for subterranean termites. Please read your treatment contract, to see if it covers termite damages. For contracts that do cover termite damage, this is a limited termite damage warranty. Arrow does not cover areas where moisture problems exist. Arrow is not a moisture control company and it is not Arrows responsibility to inform the homeowner of moisture conditions that void their termite damage policy. Damage warranties for both ground and aerial infestations do not cover areas where secondary or primary moisture issues exist. Warranties apply to the structure only and not its contents unless specified otherwise. The customer is liable for notifying Arrow if: there are pipes, utilities, sprinklers, etc. that interfere with treatment, the treatment barrier/materials become disturbed or degraded, there are areas that should not be treated, trenched, or drilled due to possible damage to the home or property. If those areas are impractical to treat, they may be waived at the owners discretion. If Arrow ever notes down termite conducive conditions, those conditions are to be addressed to the homeowner and is to report back to Arrow on their status within 30 days. If they are not addressed, fixed, or reported back to Arrow, the damage warranty on the home will be void and Arrow will continue to service the home under a Treatment Contract only. The damage warranty can be re-instated upon written approval by Arrow. Late or penalty fees may apply. If you have a treatment only contract and would like to be eligible for upgraded coverage such as a damage warranty, please contact our office to schedule a free consultation.
Sentricon Termite Baiting Systems: The Sentricon Baiting System is not Arrow’s or the clients direct property. It is the property of the manufacturer, Dow AgroSciences / Corteva Ag Sciences. Arrow is an approved and certified installer and servicer of their termite baiting systems. Arrow exceeds the manufacturers expectations by installing stations approximately 9 feet apart, where soil is available, at on added cost to the homeowner. Core Drilled stations, where soil is not available, are installed at approximately 19 feet apart in the concrete, if needed. If service of a Sentricon System is cancelled, the client understand that the system will be uninstalled by Arrow from the property and that the client must grant Arrow access to confirm the cancellation. As long as the system is installed at the property, the homeowner will be billed. The homeowner acknowledges they have received the Sentricon fact and information sheet.
Active Termite Notice: After starting a termite treatment plan, it is still possible hidden termite activity or colonies could be in the structure. We can not see behind walls. In the event hidden or visually inaccessible termite infestations are discovered on the structure within 90 days of the initial treatment, Arrow reserves the right to charge the client at a discounted rate of $250 per spot treatment. This charge is in addition to what would have been paid on the preventative initial termite treatment. Liquid and Bait termiticides may take over 90 days to eliminate larger termite colonies.
Sentricon + PC combo programs: Sentricon stations will be checked at least once per year, but not quarterly. Pest Control will be serviced every time with Arrow also performing a basic exterior inspection of the home for termites and pests.
Termite Renewal Lapses: If your termite policy lapses, please call Arrow as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to keep your home protected and maintain the coverage on your home. If a lapse occurs, the contract will revert to a treatment only termite contract for subterranean termites with no damage coverage. In order to be eligible for damage coverage again, you must schedule a free consultation and be approved for the damage warranty, in writing. A lapse is defined at Arrow as the client not paying the required renewal amounts by the last day of their renewal month. If the amount is paid, and service has not been rendered yet, then there is no lapse.
Termite Renewal Information: Renew on-time. Arrow must inspect the exterior of the structure to renew coverage and payment must be accepted. Payment must be made by the renewal date or a lapse will show on the policy. After payment, service can be made. The service is an exterior inspection only to the visually accessible exterior of the structure. in some cases, an interior inspection may be warranted. The homeowner/client has the right to request additional interior or exterior inspections. Most of Arrow’s renewal services come with a complimentary ant treatment, weather permitting, around the foundation of the home or piers. This treatment is not a guarantee in any way for pests.
Term Particle Barrier: Homeowners should consider Term Termite Particle Barrier to be applied against the foundation of their home. Termites cannot lift the particle and they cannot tunnel through them. This is a very eco-friendly and economical way to supplement your termite treatment. This treatment is not meant as a stand-alone treatment. The Particle Barrier should be maintained as other landscape “rock” barriers against a foundation and reapplication may be needed to periodically replace the barrier.
Termite Homeowner Recommended Checklist: Also see the termite portion of our website. Having these conditions can void the Termite Damage portion of your contract. Homeowner maintenance is needed to help prevent and control termites.
- Keep all dirt below the foundation of the slab and piers so that 2-3 inches are visible for inspection and moisture reduction.
- Keep tree branches and plants from growing above or on the structure. Plants touching the structure and vines growing on the home are included with this.
- Keep firewood, wood, and form boards away from direct contact with the soil near the structure.
- Eliminate standing water under the home or against the slab. Ensure proper drainage.
- Increase ventilation in crawl spaces to limit moisture.
- Inspect and eliminate or replace any wood rot in the home, windows, door frames, etc.
- Inspect and address all cracks in the foundation of the slab. Disclose any cracks or slab additions to Arrow.
- Call Arrow if you disturb treatment or stations around the perimeter of the structure. We must retreat.
- If Arrow ever notes down a conducive area, please call arrow to state that you have rectified the area. Not all areas can easily be fixed, and some areas may require you consult with a contractor, landscaper, or home inspector.
Wood Borate Treatments on Existing Construction: Wood borate treatments are very effective against a variety of wood destroying insects. Wood Borates, in general, are long-lasting and eco-friendly. They are made to absorb into bare wood, and they cannot be applied to stained or painted wood. Please do not enter or work in a borate treated area until the application has dried. The product rates and treatment may vary depending on the targeted pest. Borate treatments for Powder Post Beetles or other wood destroying insects do not come with a full guarantee unless Arrow can treat all sides of the exposed wood. A wood borate treatment will be performed as a supplemental treatment, spot treatment, or a suppression treatment. Full guarantees are not given on borate treatments alone. Aggressive and extensive wood destroying beetle infestations may need a full home fumigation to achieve a guaranteed service.

Payment/Scheduling Policies: I hereby agree to allow Arrow Pest Control, Inc. (“Arrow”) access to the above premises for servicing or treatment. Refusal on my part to grant such access will be considered a breach of the contract & will mature the total sum due for the balance of the contract period without the necessity of your tendering further service or treatment. I ALSO AGREE THAT WHEN ARROW HAS MADE REASONABLE EFFORTS TO GAIN ACCESS TO SERVICE THE INSIDE OF MY STRUCTURE & HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO SO, I WILL ACCEPT & PAY FOR SERVICE RENDERED ON THE READILY ACCESSIBLE OUTSIDE ONLY. I agree that if Arrow attempts to contact me twice or more to gain access to service my structure that a reasonable effort has been made by Arrow. I understand that Arrow’s maintenance scheduling service is a courtesy reminder only for Arrow to gain proper access to the property for treatment. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform Arrow of any areas that could be dangerous to treat or that could result in property damage. I understand that Arrow can service properties even in inclement weather as part of Arrow’s Rain or Shine Pest Guarantee. If client is not satisfied with Arrow’s service to the point where Arrow cannot continue service to control the guaranteed pest, Arrow may elect to refund up to the last two payments of any Prime Pest Service made and cancel the agreement with the approval of an Arrow Manager. I also agree that the nonpayment of any installment will be a breach of contract & will mature the payment of all installments then due or to become due for the first-year contract, & any extension or renewal thereof. If it should become necessary for Arrow to engage in the service of an attorney or collection agency to collect sums due Arrow or enforce any of the obligations incurred herein, I (client) shall be bound to pay the fees of such attorney or collection agency, which is hereby fixed at a minimum of 25%of the amount due but no less than $100 along with all any costs & expenses involved. Any price increase related to your service will be made after the one-year anniversary of the contract only in accordance with Arrows policies related thereto. I have advised Arrow that no occupant of the structure to be treated has sensitivity to chemicals or pest control products & in connection therewith, Arrow recommends that anyone with any such sensitivity must consult a physician in advance of the treatment of the structure. I agree Arrow has no responsibility for & I hold Arrow harmless from any bites, stings, pest related diseases, damages, etc., & associated medical expenses. Arrow will not be liable for any damages to property except due to gross negligence. Arrow agrees to perform the above-described service under the terms & conditions as specified guarantees to come back & retreat any infested areas for covered pest at no charge between regular treatments where warranted at the discretion of Arrow’s opinion.
Convenience Billing: Arrow utilizes convenience billing for many of our recurring services. In general, for termite services, convenience billing starts the month after the installation and the initial payment is made. Termite initial services have a 1-year service warranty. Please read your termite warranty issued after the payment and service for more details. Convenience billing for pest control is recurring payments, usually monthly. As long as the monthly payments are paid, you will have the service guarantee for your specific program. For billing questions or setup, please contact our office.
